Residence Principe

We have booked an appartment in Residence Pinkas, but when arrived we were told it had been taken and we got a bigger one in Principe (close by) for the same price. The appartment was in a nice building, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The location is very good - quite central. All in all, we were happy with the choice and would come agian.

Nice appartement, well equipped, very good location ... we loved the fact that we could go everywhere walking! Ideal for babies (a lot of space to play around). The staff was kind and helpfull. It needed to be cleaner and also more towels were needed.

Good Appartment. Poor Staff

If it was down to the appartments alone, I would score a 80% as they were functioning and of a good size. However 1 bathroom between 8 people was a bit inconvenient. There was no bin facility and we had to go down a flight of stairs to a communal bin area with only 1 bin in it which was full with any rubbish. The attitude and rudeness of the one member of staff however at check-in was disappointing. They tried to get me to pay the full amount for the booking again even after I stated it had been paid in full they tried to argue with me. Then offered no apology when they found they were wrong. The taxi transfer from the airport was offered originally at 25 Euros (which equates to 636 CZK) this changed to 35 Euros (891 CZK) a few days before arrival. On arrival at the airport because we had 9 people instead of 8, the fare went from 900 CZK to 1700 CZK!!! Admittedly we had 1 more member than stated but we were not offered a second taxi and told ok we could squeeze in. It was only when we were enroute they said it would cost us the cost of 2 taxis???? Then why not offer 2??? The staff lowered this by 200 Kronas to 1500 upon complaint but this caused various comments to be made in czech between the staff members about our grup which we did not appreciate. One of our group speaks czech! These guys will try to fleece you for more money than they should if they get away with it. The amount taken from my credit card was also more than £20 more than the quote I received. I would not stay here again but would pay a little extra for courtesy in future.

for the rest 20% you should change towels and clean the apartment at least one for 5 days. the rest is ok. Thank you .

Good status of the apartment. The only caveat is that with a small effort (better TV, DVD player, stereo, better towels, clean services, etc) it could be an outstanding solution.

A Quick Accomodation Solution

I reserved an apartment with Prague Holiday at the last minute - the morning of my arrival - since my travel plans were unconfirmed until then. The Prague Holiday staff was extremely prompt and helpful in arranging both accomodation and transportation to and from the airport. I would certainly choose to use their service again. The apartment was simple and rather bare, but was spacious and clean and in a very convenient location for seeing the old town and other important sites. All conveniences were close by. Furnishings were modern and the bed was comfortable, which was my most important concern, and the wireless internet was fast and reliable, which was my second. In summer, it would have been nice to linger and have breakfast in the kitchen with the windows open.

Convenient Location, Great Price and Accommodations

Very nice accommodations located very close to many attractions. Take the subway 1 stop and walk back while enjoying the sights of Praha.

Lovely Apartments - would definately stay again

Our stay in these apartments was great. The apartment we stayed in were just as shown in the pictures, spacious, clean with modern decor. The staff in the office were very helpful and went out of their way to help and recommend things to do and see. I would definately stay in these apartments again and would highly recommend them to others travelling to Prague.

New Years

The apartment was clean, well equiped and in a brilliant location. The only problem we had was with the safe; it did not seem to keep the code we entered. The maintainence man Hector was very helpful. 90%
