Lovely hotel

Absolutely perfect for a short city break. The hotel was literally a minutes walk from the Old Town Square and only about 10 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. The staff were polite and friendly, and the room was very clean. Only a little noise at night (to be expected in a city) and beautiful roof-top views from the terrace. Would love to go back again!

Fantastic room, clean and well suited for a couple. Best location ever and breakfast was beyond expectations however the best were the staff helpfull anf frindly.

Awesome Quality, Comfort and Location

I stayed for four days at Hot Dar in the first week of September, 2008. The hotel is located within a few meters of the old town square (ie. Astronomical clock et al.). The hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are beautiful, very clean and ultra modern. The staff there is very helpful and friendly and the restaurant next door is quite good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for all travelers to Prague!

Very nice!

The location is perfect - just in the centre. It was quiet in the hotel. The staff was very friendly, always willing to help and answering all my questions. The breakfasts were nice, in comparison with other 3 *** hotels in Europe, they were quite perfect. Everything is small; most of the rooms especially on the top floor are very tiny. But it is because of the central location as well as in London and Paris. There was only one thing I was not ready for- the absence of air-conditioning. It’s bad, especially if it is summer and you are on the top floor. So my advice is to take the room on the second floor viewing the yard- it would be quiet and cool at night.

Excellent location!!

If you didn't know it was there you would walk past this laid back understated hotel in an excellent location just off Old Town Square. The desk staff/manager speak very good english although the remainder of the staff struggle a bit and some could do with a lesson in smiling! Our first room was a very small twin with little room so we asked to be moved. We were moved to an apartment on the same floor with separate kitchen and much more space. I must stress that the whole hotel was spotless and I was pleased to see CCTV camera's scattered around - the security was good. Althogether the hotel was worth it's 3 stars but the waiting staff could have been a little friendlier.

100% We stayed in this hotel for three nights at the end of August. This hotel is very clean and the staff extremly helpful.Nothing was too much trouble. The two bedroom apartment we stayed in was very large, with twin bedded room and a sepatate kingsize double, a kithen with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The large double room also had a quality table and chairs and a large sofa bed.Vladimir, the owner was very attentive. Nina who speaks excellent english and spanish was lovely too. The resaurant served excellent food.The roof terrace was an added bonus with plenty of tables and chairs. Very close to the town square and many resaurants and coffee shops.Would recommend to everyone we know. Excellent value for money.
