| Good sides: Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, reasonable price, quiet & safe location, free wi-fi.
Bad sides: you have to walk 10 minutes from the closest metro station (Kobilisy), no elevator.
Overall comment: It is not in city center but you can be at city center in about 20-25 minutes by Metro. I would definitely suggest for especially budget travellers. |

| My experience (room 105): Squeaky and springy floor, cobwebs all over the corners and thick layer of dust (about 1cm) on television. Water is heavily chlorinated and looks green when tub (which is rusty) is full. Bed and towels were clean. And receptionist was nice.
I guess that rooms of this hotel have different quality, other reviewer certainly wasnt reviewing same room as I had. |

| I have travelled extensively over the world in my capacity as a professional sock cleaner, often staying in five star establishments of no smalll excellence; including even the ultra-luxurious seven star establishments of the occident.
Hotel Stirka isn't as good. The beds are lovely however and the breakfast gives a strong start to the day. The bathroom is only a little bit frightening, which is a positive boon in an establishment like this.
You get what you pay for and the place is good value for money - as well as affording you an easy introduction to the stylish Prague metro. |
