| No English speaking person taking care of conference room!!! Impolite personnel atreception.
Only one smiling person met in the entire visit.... |

| My husband & I have just returned from an Easter break in Prague staying at Don Giovanni hotel in which we can find no fault at all with this accommodation. The evening of our arrival, we witnessed a pianist; operatic solo and duet singing in traditional costume in the hotel foyer where extra chairs were laid out which was wonderful. During our stay, the staff were very helpful with questions regarding getting to and from the city centre/airport and any other questions we had. The room was very acceptable and our requests of upper floor, quiet and non-smoking room were all fulfilled. You will find a hairdryer and free shower/hair gel in bathroom, plenty of storage space for clothes and shoes, BBC channel to catch up on news, mini bar and room is cleaned daily. We had a minor problem with fridge not working but our request of ice was adhered to immediately. The buffet breakfast was excellent offering all kinds of food from cereals, porridge, fruit, hot foods, cakes, breads, ham, cheese, yoghurts, nuts, hot milk, boiled and scrambled eggs amongst many other items. You will find a restaurant on the first floor and also a bar area on ground floor that offer food too. The hotel gave us free tram/tube tickets for our duration of the stay which was fantastic but a word of warning, my husband & I forgot to stamp our tickets on our return to the airport and got fined £48 by a very unsympathetic tram inspector even though we pleaded our ignorance so even though it looks like no one is checking tickets, please be warned! The transportation to the city centre was excellent; trams and tube stations are located just outside the hotel. The tube only takes minutes to reach city centre, four or five stops depending which part you want to reach, take the tram for a slower pace but you then have the advantage of outside view, don’t forget to stamp your tickets! Even though the area may look a little bleak outside the hotel, please be assured it is an excellent hotel with excellent facilities, very friendly and helpful staff and would recommend this hotel to anyone. |
